Teach Me, Lord
Judges 13

Text: Then Manoah entreated the Lord , and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
Judges 13:8 KJV

Learn and Apply: God was about to raise another judge for Israel and sent an angel to deliver the promise to the Manoah family. The promise was not only well received but the precept sought after. Manoah decided to enquire more, to know what they should do so that the promise of a judge for Israel will be fulfilled.

When God gives us a promise, we should always ask Him to teach us what to do, so that the promise will not be aborted, so that the promise will be fully fulfilled in our lives. There is always something we must do. We have a part to play. Has God blessed you with a son, a daugher, or called you into something amazing, go to Him and ask for his grace in fulfilling your new role. Ask Him to teach you what to do.

David wanted to do God’s will, therefore prayed, Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth (Psalm 86:11)!

May God teach us His ways and grant us understanding into what He has called us to do, in Jesus name.

Pray: Thank you Father for the divine calling upon our lives, teach us what to do so that your word to us will be fulfilled, in Jesus name!
