READ #LAActs Devotional Day 26 ‘Miracle Working God’

Why does it seem incredible to any of you that God can raise the dead? – Acts 26:8 Paul’s question clearly showed his surprise at the inability of his audience to believe that God can raise the dead.

As we near the end of our journey through the book of ACTS, we have to agree that some of the major things that stand out are the miraculous acts God performed through the Apostles. His power is indeed unquestionable.

Dear Christian, why does it seem incredible to you that God can do that which you deem impossible? You deem it impossible; God does not. Remember what He said in Luke 1:37, ‘For with God nothing will be impossible.’ You think it is too hard for God. God does not think so.

Jeremiah 32:17 tells us that there is nothing too hard for our Father. You think your issue is too little for Him to notice. Wrong! He tells you in Isaiah 49:16 that you are engraved on the palms of His hands. He is all-seeing and all-knowing. He can raise the dead, heal the sick, strengthen the weak, and make a way in the wilderness. God is able to do all that and more than you can ever imagine or comprehend (Ephesians 3:20).

I challenge you to have faith in this limitless God. Don’t present your requests to Him for the sake of formality.

Present it and believe that He has heard you, and will answer.

Prayer Focus:
Miracle Working God! nothing is too difficult for You. I believe Lord; Help me overcome by unbelief!
