After Hezekiah, God had already said to scatter the people of Judah and have them carried into Babylon.
The only way they could come under the curse however, is if they sin or lead their people to sin. And this they did, forsaking the way of their fathers and walking in their own way.
God wants us to be free from the curse of Adam; the only way we can make the great escape is if we enter under the redemptive covering of Jesus Christ.
May we fully submit to Jesus, so we are made free from the curse.
